Kianna Jade Acevedo
Kianna Jade Acevedo was born and raised in Queens, New York, where her love for movement and community began at an early age. Throughout her youth, she remained actively involved in local organizations and activities, always drawn to spaces that encouraged growth and connection.
After graduating from SUNY Cortland, Kianna relocated to the East End of Long Island. Though unfamiliar with her new surroundings, she quickly found a sense of belonging through yoga. Her first heated class sparked an immediate transformation—a deep appreciation for the physical, mental, and emotional journey that unfolds on the mat.
Inspired by this experience, Kianna pursued her yoga teacher certification, diving fully into the practice as both a student and educator. With a background in childhood education and fitness instruction, she brings a playful, yet grounded approach to teaching. For Kianna, yoga is more than movement—it’s a way to explore the connection between mind and body, and to carry that awareness into everyday life.
Her teaching is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and empowerment. Whether working with children or adults, Kianna thrives on building meaningful connections and supporting others in their personal growth—both on and off the mat.
